Applying make-up during the monsoon

The monsoons are here and the ladies definitely need some help in the make-up department. Here are some tips just in case you get caught in the downpour.

a)Wash your face with a mild face wash and use a cleanser. Then, rub an ice cube for about 10-15 minutes on the face to lower the level of sweating. It helps in keeping make-up on for a longer period.

b)Do not apply foundation. Use a little powder before applying make-up.

c)Pink eye shadow with waterproof eyeliner and mascara looks perfect during this season.

d)Matte lipsticks are best during monsoons. One can use light shades for lip liners and lipsticks such as pink or soft brown shades with sheer gloss.

e)If blush is necessary, remember to keep it light. Use cream blush in peach, brown or pink colours.
