Arab Muslim groups in USA condemn this random act of violence by Maj Nidal Malik Hasan, a military psychiatrist stationed at Ft Hood Army Base.

Maj Hasan supposedly was unhappy about being re-deployed to the Afghan region. Also, he was trying desperately to get out of the military.  Hasan randomly shot and killed 13 people on base and injured 30 others around 1:30 p.m. ET, November 5 2009.

Arab-Muslim groups said that they are bracing for a backlash. However, so far, they have received only one threat. Let's hope it says that way. Arab-Muslim Americans, as a group of people, are Not responsible for this act of violence by a lone shooter.
