Thousands of people will be heading to Randall's Island today for the big concert starring Arcade Fire. Also on the bill are LCD Soundsystem, Blonde Redhead, and Les Savy Fav. If you're wondering how the heck to get to Randall's Island, you'll be happy to know mass transit has some good options.

Here's what the concert promoters recommend (the link below takes you to the promoter's Web site):

SUBWAY: Take the 4, 5, or 6 train to 125th St. and transfer upstairs to the x80 Express Bus. Round trip far is $5.00, payable upon boarding the bus. Pay with a regular Metrocard.

From Queens and Long Island, take the 7 train or the LIRR to the 61st St. & Woodside station, then transfer to the x81 Express Bus.
