Are They Out There?

People have been reporting UFO sightings for ages, yet most of us never give them a second thought. Why then do people claim to have seen them? Are they simply looking for attention or do they really believe what they are saying?

Claims are fairly diverse. Some people claim merely to have seen spaceships while others say that they were abducted and experimented on. Others find this hard to believe. Should we be so quick to dismiss these claims?

When one considers the immense size of the universe, it becomes hard to believe that life only inhabits the small corner we call Earth. Surely life must occur elsewhere in the universe as well? The law of averages would have us believe so.

And if there is life out there, then perhaps there is intelligent life as well. Do they look up at the stars asking the same questions we do? Or are they travelling the universe already? Perhaps they have visited us after all.
