Asian travel tips
posted September 7, 2006 - 11:26amThe best way to avoid Weather issues when traveling to Asia is to be aware of which countries have what seasons.
Some countries have two seasons, wet and dry. most traveling should be done during the dry season to avoid weather catastrophes.
Other countries have four seasons and it's best to travel there during dry weather. Spring is a good time to travel to these countries because the temperatures are milder. If you wait until other times of the year you could run into windstorms and heavy rains.
Keep in mind that depending on size the country and different degrees of elevation available, you may want to avoid being close to sea level during certain times of the year. If you travel to the higher altitudes protective clothing is a necessity as temperatures may be cooler.
There are many sites online you can visit to help you be aware of what the weather is like in these countries.
It is wise to check the weather reports of the countries you want to visit frequently before you decide to actually make your trip.
