There is only one named king on the mountains of Israel predominately and solely stated throughout prophecy with his armies surrounding him, at he is the antichrist. There is no other king identified by country or army mentioned in scripture as being on Mount Zion at the coming of our LORD. The King of Assyria will literally fulfill the prophecy sworn by the LORD Almighty. The king of Assyria will be the antichrist.

The antichrist’s kingdom has to from one of the four kingdoms that come out of the fallen kingdom of Greece, therefore this is what the world may look like at that time…

Later in Daniel 11 we see the antichrist continually attacking Media-Persia (the king of the South) so their countries may be touching. If the antichrist controls Baghdad then the country of Iraq may take on the name of Babylon for they move their capital to their. These are just ideas were boundaries might be. We know that Assyria, modern day Syria, has to be one of the four kingdoms. Greece is probably one of them, though their boundaries might also be different then that what is right now. Babylon or Iraq is most likely one for see is talked about a lot in Revelation as being very prominent. The fourth one I don’t know and it hasn’t been revealed to me through Scripture yet.

Where do you begin when trying to describe a world leader? I guess at the beginning, with his origins and his name.

Na 1:1 An oracle concerning Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.

Na 1:11 From you, O Nineveh, has one come forth who plots evil against the LORD and counsels wickedness.

Here is the earthly beginnings of the antichrist, but his spiritual origins in the last days will be from the Abyss.

Rev 17:8 the beast which you saw, once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because he once was, now is not, and yet will come.

The statement “he once was’ shows that he once lived as a person, and this person had to have lived before John wrote down this vision of Revelation at the latest 95 AD. The earliest prophecies about the antichrist are from Isaiah in 739 BC. So, he had to be an earthly ruler between 739 BC. and 95 AD. The antichrist lived once in Nineveh and in the last days he will also be from Nineveh. The spirit of the antichrist will come up out of the abyss and possesses an individual that has already been born and is at that time in adulthood. The antichrist once was and spends time in the abyss and will come up out of the abyss and go to his destruction. Who was this Assyrian of so long ago? The antichrist was one of the former kings of Assyria. Since, as we have discussed before, he will be an Assyrian, but which king will he be? His name is 666. You may say, “That is not a name,” but it is the biggest clue we have to his name.

Rev 13:16 He (the antichrist) also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead,
Rev 13:17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark which is
the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the
number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.
