At the coming of our Lord the wise virgins brought in themselves oil, the Holy Spirit, who is the fuel for their light (good deeds Matthew 5:16, goodness, righteousness and truth Ephesians 5:9). Their source of their good deeds, goodness, righteousness and the truth is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, ignited by their surrender to Jesus’ burning holy love.

These virgins are caught up to be with the Lord and the foolish virgins are left behind. Then here comes the wrath of God. The foolish virgins beg and plead with God and Jesus tells them “I tell you the truth, I don’t know you”. Were they not called? Oh yes they were called but they did not see their desperate need for the extra amount of oil of the Holy Spirit. When the world became dark and then they realized their own human effort was not sufficient to get through those dark days and to get them into heaven, they went in search for the truth. The bridegroom came and they were not prepared. For relationship with God takes time to establish. Remember ‘Today is the day of salvation.’

Luke 14:16 Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests.”
Luke 14:17 At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited “Come, for everything is now ready”. But they all alike began to make excuses.

Isa 27:12 In that day the LORD will thresh from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, O Israelites, will be gathered up one by one.
Isa 27:13 And in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

At the end of the seven year covenant period, the end of the tribulation; the antichrist and the false prophet are encamped at Jerusalem on the holy mountain. The armies of Assyria are encamped around them and throughout the mountains of Israel and the armies and kings of the earth have come to do battle at the mount of Megiddo. This is also known as the battle of Armageddon. Then…

Zec 14:4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of
Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
Zec 14:5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

This fits perfectly with when the antichrist comes up from Egypt and places his tents on the mount Zion and the two witnesses are slain, then resurrected three and a half days later. Then they ascend into heaven and there is a severe earthquake and the Mount of Olives is split asunder and the Israelites escape via that valley and the Lord comes.

Isa 26:21 See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer.

Isa 29:5 But your many enemies will become like fine dust, the ruthless hordes like blown chaff. Suddenly, in an instant,
Isa 29:6 the LORD Almighty will come with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with windstorm and tempest and flames of a devouring fire.
Isa 29:7 Then the horde of all the nations that fight against Ariel, that attack her and her fortress and besiege her, will be as it is with a dream, with a vision in the night—

Isa 9:8 as when a hungry man-dreams that he is eating, but he awakens, and his hunger remains; as when a thirsty man dreams that he is drinking, but he awakens faint, with his thirst unquenched. So will it be with the hordes of all the nations that fight against Mount Zion.

Isa 30:27 See, the Name of the LORD comes from afar, with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke; his lips are full of wrath, and his tongue is a consuming fire.
Isa 30:28 His breath is like a rushing torrent, rising up to the neck. He shakes the nations in the sieve of destruction; he places in the jaws of the peoples a bit that leads them astray.

Isa 3l:4 This is what the LORD says to me: As a lion growls, a great lion
over his prey—and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against him, he is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamor— so the LORD Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights.
Isa 31:5 Like birds hovering overhead, the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will ‘pass over’ it and will rescue it.”

Isa 30:30 The LORD will cause men to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.
Isa 30:31 The voice of the LORD will shatter Assyria; with his scepter he will strike them down.
Isa 30:32 Every stroke the LORD lays on them with his punishing rod will be to the music of tambourines and harps, as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.
Isa 30:33 Topheth has long been prepared; it has been made ready for the king. Its fire pit has been made deep and wide, with an abundance of fire and wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of burning sulfur, sets it ablaze.
Isa 31:8 “Assyria will fall by a sword that is not of man; a sword, not of mortals, will devour them. They will flee before the sword and their young men will be put to forced labor.
Isa 31:9 Their stronghold will fall because of terror; at sight of the battle standard their commanders will panic,” declares the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, whose furnace is in Jerusalem.

Rev 19:19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army.
19:20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had
performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Isa 14:24 The LORD Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.
Isa 14:26 I will crush the Assyrian in my land; on my mountains I will trample him down. His yoke will be taken from my people, and his burden removed from their shoulders.’
Isa 14:26 This is the plan determined for the whole world; this is the hand stretched out over all nations.
Isa 14:27 For the LORD Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

The antichrist will come up out of Egypt (Daniel 11:43), and shall capture Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2), and pitch his royal tents on Mount Zion (Daniel 11:45), the houses will be ransacked, the women raped and half the city sent into exile, but the rest will not be taken from the city (Zechariah 14:2). The two witnesses will be slain. Then there will be a severe earthquake (Revelation 11:13). The Mount of Olives will be split in half forming a great valley and the Israelites will flee through it (Zechariah 14:4-5), and then the Lord appears in the sky. Then the righteous and the wicked will be resurrected. The righteous are caught up to heaven. The Lord fights against the Assyrians on and around Mount Zion and captures the antichrist and the false prophet and cast them into the fiery lake of burning sulfur
