Autism Changed Our Lives

I practically grew up having a lot fun with my sister in law. Before we got married with where so of like real sisters. Shared the same activities, parties, clothes, feeling, emotions you name it. We couldn’t get more excited as when she was expecting her second child, planning the baby shower and enjoying every minute of the pregnancy until her little girl whom we named “Genesis” was born. Everything changed when we discovered the baby was born with autism No only we didn’t have the time to go out anymore, specials children absorbs mostly all your time, with constant care as you have to be alert about what they will do next, of course I am sure there are many different behaviors when it comes to autism, I am only talking about our particular case with Genesis. At the beginning was difficult from accepting it to dealing with it, but as time went by our lives was better changed, we learned to find happiness in other things with Genesis. She tough us to be less selfish and we look at things in another perspective. We’ve always say that if everyone in the world born with this condition, there will be not wars, misunderstandings, conflicts or issues, these type of humans beings will never face evil, like the rest of us so called “normal people” First thing to do is to accept it; some people get embarrassed when having a child with autism Tell everyone and be proud of it, its nothing to be shame of. Consider seeing them for whom they are “SPECIAL PEOPLE” Don’t feel sorry for them, IN FACT THEY ARE REAL SMART. Love them because when you get to really know them you can’t detach from them. Don’t be selfish in thinking about your life was or will be, understand it is all about your child. Find resources on the internet, they are many supportive institutions that can help you as well, financially and emotionally.
