Ayesha Takia disappeared after the disastrous Sunday. So, the lull is quite understandable. But for how long can the chirpy lass brood anyway? Ayesha will soon be seen having fun in Paathshala — Ahmed Khan’s latest film where she and Shahid Kapur play the lead roles. The two play teachers to a bunch of boisterous brats. “The kids were actually bullying us,” says Ayesha, “They knew we couldn’t chide them even if we wanted to.” Speaking about her role, she adds, “I’m a teacher in a boarding school. I’m not a strict maths teacher though; I teach extracurricular activities.”

Ayesha will be also seen in Boney Kapoor’s Wanted Dead Or Alive with Salman Khan and in 8 by 10 with Akshay Kumar. She was also slated to do Aladdin with Amitabh Bachchan until date problems intervened. “Any girl would want to do that role,” she says. “But the dates were postponed to suit Amitabh Bachchan’s schedule. It’s my loss.”
