Bacteria Aren't Always the Bad Guys

These days, it seems that everyone is worried about germs, viruses and all those evil microscopic things that go bump in the night. People often wonder what they should do.  Do I always need to use a hand sanitizer? Should I spray more disinfectant?  Maybe I should cook that steak an extra half hour.  Speaking of steak, should we be feeding our livestock even more antibiotics? Well, probably not, especially not for that last one. Believe it or not, not all microorganisms are bad, and some are downright good for us. Here is a link to an article that points out some of the good things that microorganisms can do for us, helping in our day to day lives.
