Balloon Boy, Falcon Heene, Vomit On The Today Show Real, But Was Trip A Hoax?

At age six, Balloon Boy, Falcon Heene, made a sound that was heard around the world;

He vomited on The Today Show this morning. Twice.

Falcon Heene will be known as the Balloon Boy for years to come after Thursday's fiasco when the Heene's family's hot air balloon, that's shaped like a flying saucer, came unfettered from the family's backyard and began to ascend across the horizon.

It was thought that little Falcon Heene was inside the hot air balloon, which started a media frenzy as worried parents and law enforcement wondered how they would be able to get the boy safely back down to the ground. Denver International Airport was briefly shut down while the boy-less balloon was in-flight.

Falcon Heene was not inside the hot air balloon, but he was inside a cardboard box in the Heene house's attic. Falcon said he fled there after his father had yelled at him for playing with the hot air balloon. Investigators stated they had searched the house twice, but found no sign of little Falcon.

During the Today Show interview this morning from their home in Colorado, Falcon Heene vomited. Parents can understand that children often do this when nervous, so we can surmise that the vomit was real, but only further investigation will determine if the balloon trip was real or if it was a hoax for publicity.

The boy made a statement when

The boy made a statement when asked why he did not answer when he heard them calling he said, not quoted per se, "that it was for the show".  It sounds like an odd response.  I think saying he was scared because he knew he was in trouble would have been a more logical answer.  It sounded like this morning on the news that there may be charges.

Thanks for sharing.
