Banana, Flax Seed and Peanut Butter

The first time someone offered me this, I thought it sounded very unappetizing, but now I eat it almost every morning for breakfast. Toast 2 slices of bread (best if it is at least whole wheat but even better it is 12 grain or multi grain) and spread peanut butter on the toast (I use low fat peanut butter). Ground some flax seeds in the coffee grinder (you can buy them already ground as well) and sprinkle some on top of the peanut butter. Than cut a banana into slices and put on top. It is a very healthy breakfast or snack anytime throughout the day. The Peanut putter and bananas are a good source of protein and flax seeds are an excellent source of fiber and omega oils. Give it a try and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Kids find it tasty as well!
