Barack Obama - 75,000 people came to hear and see - Portland, Oregon (and Pictures)

It was 80 degrees, and on the banks of the Willamette River, which flows through the center of Portland, 75,000 people showed up to see Senator Barack Obama.

From within Tom McCall Waterfront Park, to rafts, and pleasure boats on the river, the crowd's size and energy was awesome, and, absolutely electrifying!

(In my 35 year in the Portland area, I have never witnessed anything quite like this.)

"WOW, WOW, WOW," the first words Barack Obama said as he viewed the sea-of-people...

There are pictures with this article, which is from the
New York Times.
