Is Barack Obama engaged in Incremental Radicalism?

This author says Barack Obama's political beliefs belong on the far left. According to the author [click on link below] Obama is a Democratic Socialist, formerly a member of The New Party. Since Obama could be declared the new commander-in-chief by November 5, 2008 or sometime this month, voters might be interested in doing some more research into Obama's political background. It might be helpful in understanding how Barack Obama will go about governing the nation.

Hey, Martin...I don't need

Hey, Martin...I don't need to go to Europe to see Marxists. Do you need to come to the United States to see republicans? We are not isolated from one another - not physically or ideologically. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

Barack Obama Marxist??

To call Barack Obama marxist is just a huge factual error and ridiculous! Come to europe and you'll see som real marxist/socialists. Barack Obama is about as much marxist as you're a social democrat! He doesn't even make it to the left of the middle. American politics are extremely polarized (only 2 realistic alternatives) but both alternatives lives on the right side of the spectrum.

Why is it that when you're

Why is it that when you're presented with facts that prove you wrong (repeatedly), you always revert to attacking the person or dismissing the information as inconsequential? I don't think this article was discussing McCain's associations...let me see...nope, it wasn't. If your defense of Obama is to say, "Well he has questionable friends too," then I'm afraid you're just going to have to accept the fact that your guy is guilty as charged. And I can write about whatever I choose. If I was interested in detailing McCain's "radical" associations, then I would do it. Unfortunately, McCain doesn't have anything close to the amount of radical friends that Obama has, nor are McCain's "radical" associations hell-bent on destroying this country. The comparisons you made are a joke. It's time for you to accept the facts, Jimmy - Obama is a Marxist. There's no doubt about it...well there is, but only with the dupes that bought into his lofty rhetoric. And what is this "balanced neutrality" you speak of? I am in no way trying to be "balanced" or "neutral" when exposing Obama for the fraud he is. I have openly stated that he is a Marxist/socialist/extremist - whatever you want to call him. It's too bad that others refuse to identify him as such. This is not the kind of person that ought to be the leader of the "free" world. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

You and Stanley Kurtz have things in common, Publius

You both have anti-Obama agendas and you express them under the guise of balanced neutrality. I mean, you take Barack Obama to task for having ties to what you call "radicals" but you turn a blind eye to the Neocons and their influence over the Bush White House. If I had the inclination, I would make a McCain Spider-Web and fill it with all of his "radical" buddies, like G. Gordon Liddy and Charles Keating. How many people lost their life savings to Lincoln Savings and Loan? How many years did Liddy spend in prison for what today would be considered terrorism? If you are going to say Obama has ties to terrorists and other "radicals" then you should do the same thing for McCain, unless, of course, you have no interest in applying equal standards. Well then...if Stanley Kurtz

Well then...if Stanley Kurtz reported on it, it must not be true. But wait a minute...oh, this can't be right: Chicago Democratic Socialists of America Here's a quote from the above website: "New Party Update - by Bruce Bentley First, in relation to its infrastructure, the NP's membership has increased since January '95 from 225 to 440. National membership has increased from 5700 in December '95 to 7000. Currently the NP's fiscal balance is $7,000 and receives an average of $450/month is sustainer donations. Secondly, the NP's '96 Political Program has been enormously successful with 3 of 4 endorsed candidates winning electoral primaries. All four candidates attended the NP membership meeting on April 11th to express their gratitude. Danny Davis, winner in the 7th Congressional District, invited NPers to join his Campaign Steering Committee. Patricia Martin, who won the race for Judge in 7th Subcircuit Court, explained that due to the NP she was able to network and get experienced advice from progressives like Davis. Barack Obama, victor in the 13th State Senate District, encouraged NPers to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration." I guess the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America are "very right-wing" and "partisan attack dogs" too. Oh, those crazy socialists and their "shenanigans and discomfort with the truth." I mean, it's not like Obama doesn't have a history of aligning with radicals. I laid it all out in this article: The Obama Spider-Web Seriously, Jim - you should take some of your own advice that you give to other members here and "pull your head out." *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.

Here some Fact Checking on Stanley Kurtz, who wrote it

I read the article and recognized that its author was Stanley Kurtz, whom the Chicago Tribune called a "partisan attack dog" who is "actively engaged" in the "guilt-by-association campaign against Barack Obama". Here is the link to the background of the very right-wing Kurtz: http://factcheck.barackobama.com/factcheck/2008/09/23/annenberg_1.php Here is another article by Micah Sifry about the shenanigans and discomfort with the truth by Kurtz in his pursuit of allegations about Barack Obama: Obama, the New Party and Stanley Kurtz's Horror JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!
