Is it true that US President Barack Obama smokes cigarettes?

That's the rumour AndAnotherThing2 heard from BBC Radio 4 - not usually the best place to pick up on rumours. It was mentioned in passing and then was briefly discussed that (very obviously) a picture of Barack lighting up, taking a drag or even stubbing out a cigarette - would be worth the President's weight in Gold.

What about the UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown - does he smoke... anything at all? (see Video below)

That said about Barack, there are no rumours about the UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown smoking cigarettes or any other smoking medium. Does this make Gordon more popular than Barack? Not at all, the opposite is true. Perhaps a rumour that he is human and (like all humans)is not perfect would do him some good. That's why we can't understand why his infamous YouTube appearance hasn't been located at the base of rumours that Gordon Brown enjoys a toke on a big spliff every once in a while. See for yourself in the infamous video below. Some people may find that the PM is smiling like a Cheshire Cat. Others - those who have frequented the cafes of Old Amsterdam - will say he is smiling like an old stoner - aka a cannabis smoking old hippie. This rumour - if that what it is - is not helped by tha fact that nobody had ever seen him smile before.
