Barack Obama's I hate America tour continues to Paris. Fresh off a speech in Berlin where he denounced america for not allowing immigration and for being a country of torture, Barack Obama will moves on to Paris where we can expect much of the same. I hope someone reminds them that if America was such a bad country, they would have left the French to fend for themselves and they all would be speaking German now. Barack Obama feels the need to denounce america on this trip to Europe and he even cancel a visit to meet with wounded soldiers. A sad state of affairs when he cancels a trip to meet wounded americans in favor of speaking to europeans. In fact, he has denounced his citizenship in America as proclaiming he is now a "Global Citizen"

John McCain is already on the record as saying that he doesn't care if our troops are in Iraq for another 100 years. Because the military cannot sustain that tempo in the face of dwindling recruitment for "volunteers", a return to the draft is inevitable. Would you be happy if everyone--men and women--between the ages of 18 and 49, who was never in the military, became immediately eligible to be drafted to go fight over there? That means that our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and possibly even beyond that are going to be cannon fodder for the plutocracy?

Perhaps more egregiously, the longer we are in Iraq and Afghanistan killing innocent Arab peoples the more potential terrorists we are creating. The only way to end terrorism with this strategy is to kill every single man, woman, and child in the Middle East. According to every definition, that is genocide.

The alternative to Obama isn't pretty. McCain continues to trip and stumble through public appearances, including claiming that "al Qaeda" is leaving Iraq and fleeing into Pakistan. For those without a map handy, Iraq does not share a border with Pakistan and two countries (Iran and Afghanistan) separate them.

I'm not voting for either of them because neither is fit to restore the Constitution and keep us safe from anything.
