Barnes & Noble's e-Reader Unveiled

chimera-e-reader-barnes-noble.jpg Not to be left out in the cold, book retailer Barnes & Noble will soon release a new ebook reader.  The device has been under development for a few years.

Barnes & Noble not only sells books, the company publishes books as well, and its own published books will probably be available for purchase on the e-reader for very good prices.

The device will also somehow be able to access all of the books on the Google Book Project--where the big G scanned in thousands of free copyright books onto a huge disk somewhere.  According to Gizmodo, the name of the device is horrendous!

An awesome addition to the functionality of this ebook reader is the small light that makes reading in dark places easier on the eyes.  The reader uses e-ink like the Kindle.

Here are a couple pictures of the e-reader.
