Basic Tips in Putting up an Internet Cafe

I am an Asian living in a so-called "third world country". I am married to an overseas worker whose contract ends every 6 months and stays home for few months and leaves to work again.

I realized, in such a routinary way of earning a living, I need to do something that will help increase our family's income and will soon stop my husband from working in another country.

You see, we already have 3 kids that longs for him, aside from me of course, everytime he works for a couple of months away from us.

I decided to invest our savings into business that is very much in-demand here in our country - internet cafe. But starting it is not that easy. But along the way, I learned a lot of lessons which I wanted to impart to anyone who have interest in investing on the same kind of business.

These are tips that I hope will be of great help to you:

> Choose the right location. Mine is located alongside with a public market, schools, and resident area. Where a lot of people are passing by everyday.

> Choose the right computer units. And as much as possible, buy new ones and with known brands that are of good quality, affordable and with a lot of service centers within reach.

> Provide all the necessary and useful computer accessories.

> Take good care of your customers. Make it an ultimate goal to provide them good services for always.

> Equip yourself with knowledge about the latest and updates by reading articles, watching news, and conversing with people with technical-know-how.

I must say, these are my secrets why my internet cafe is continuously picking up inspite of a very tight competition.

And if God permits, my business wll someday make my husband physically stays with us for the rest of our lives. Personally attending to our children's needs and watching them growing up with his very own eyes.
