Bathroom Phobia, Kansas Woman Stuck On Toilet For Two Years

After two years of sitting on the toilet, Pam Babcock's skin had grown around the toilet seat,and her legs appeared to be atrophied. To remove Pam Babcock from the toilet the seat had to be pried off of the toilet and later removed at the hospital.
Pam Babcock's boyfriend, Cory McFarren, states that he had gotten used to Pam being in the bathroom, so he would bring her food and water and they would talk while she sat on the toilet. Pam Babcock suffered from a phobia that made her too afraid to come out of the bathroom. Reports indicate that Pam's phobia was a product of abuse and she felt safe sitting on the toilet.
Cory McFarren called the police after Pam Babcock somewhat disoriented. McFarren may face charges, and Pam Babcock may face the rest of her life in a wheel chair.
