You're an Ohio State fan? I did not know that. I am too. I was born and raised in Ohio and have family ties to THE university. It saddens me that they had decided to keep that horrendous defensive coordinator around after their three major embarrassments over the last two years - Florida, LSU, and USC. It's kind of hard to stop an offense when your linebackers are five to seven yards off the line of scrimmage and almost never blitz. They don't play like that against everyone else, but when they really need to stop the run and put pressure on the quarterback, they refuse. It's not like they don't have the players for it. Then we have to hear about how great the SEC is and that USC is in a league of their own. The USC part is true...they are in "A League of Their Own" - the PAC-10 plays like a bunch of girls. But still, USC finds a way to lose to one of them almost every year. And how 'bout them Bulldogs, and them LSU Tigers, and Tennessee, and Auburn...yeah, they sure are impressive. It's also good to know that Florida can still beat the Citadel and LSU can beat Troy...barely. Quite frankly, the SEC is the Big 12 is the Big Ten...there's no major difference between them, except one is largely overrated every year. Who is Publius? Penn State did not win the Big Ten title outright...they split with Ohio State. They simply get the Rose Bowl bid because of their head-to-head victory over the Buckeyes.
