Beautiful moments
posted October 8, 2009 - 11:21amHave you ever had a moment, a moment, which you can find no words to describe what you witness or have witnessed?
A feeling with no fragment of comprehension, as if the word, entirely itself, bear no true name for its own being. The only type of emotion that you can cling to, whenever experiencing such a moment , is either the satisfication or dread. However, my experience is more of a satisfaction.
It comes within a prison, where two lovers sit, there are no black, steel bars nor are there the dry mats in which to lay upon. No, instead there is a pure silver branch, which both lovers sit on. While glistening snow whirls about them in spontaneous rhythm just like the crashing waves of the sea.
The lovers themselves are motionless; however, they are not dead. Their silver bodies, both facing the other, almost hold a livelihood of life even as they stay perched amongst the silver branch. When the sun grazes upon their still bodies, they come to life. At this moment, both lovers sing a short song. The music weaves itself out of its watery prison, dancing about its surroundings. The words, to even try to describe the music would be inadequate; it is beauty without a face, a miracle without a reason, with words so light that no one but the lovers themselves could understand. It is the very essence of love, for , as it flowsaround my head, it wraps its song around my heart. i can feel it, just like a young child can feel its mothers hug around them, the radiating love that assures them, and protects them from the darkness outside.
Just like a hug, the music slowly dies away, leaving a brisk emptiness, loneliness around the area it graced its song with. And the lovers themselves, return within their sparkling prison; motionless as a silver statue, and quiet as the dead. But they are not dead, nor is their song; for at the right moment when the sun hits the silver prison ,just right, the two lovers will sing their song and escape through the music they made. It is moments like this, which make me feel as if I am escaping with the song too. For when the music fills the empty atmosphere dancing and spinning; it is why to open ears, including my own, it bears within a feeling completely alien to me, leaving me speechless when trying to describe it with words. it is these moments that make life worth it.
