Piercing is very popular nowadays with the culture that is obsessed with body image and art. People pierce from head to toe and anywhere that they can. Piercing can be a fun thing if you get it done safely and if you don't get any infections after going home. There should be

a few things that you can do to help yourself from getting infections and other trauma. You should use precautions when choosing a piercing place and make sure that they are great in using new equipment to pierce you. You can get viral infections such as HIV, hepatitis if they didn't use new equipment.

What should you know before you go to a piercing studio? You should take preventive measures so that you don't get viral infections. It's true that you can get HIV and hepatitis from the old equipment stained with someone's infected blood. This could happen at studio that is careless about this issue. It's frightening to acknowledge that most people don't have a clue when it comes to the topic of infections. They don't know much about it and don't care to take the steps to make it right either.

The studio should know about sterilizing procedure but you have to be cautious though. When you choose a studio you have to choose the one that has a good reputation and that their employee should be trained and licensed. You should ask if they use an autoclave. This is a machine that sterilizes equipment. If they don't have it then they should have liquid disinfectant to clean their equipment and only non-transferable equipment only.

They should not be reusing needles at all because it can spread HIV and hepatitis. They should be wearing gloves when they'll working on you. They should be using brand new needles for each person. Reusing needles is illegal. You should look for jewelry that is non-allergenic. Brass and nickel will give you allergic reactions. Surgical grade steel, titanium, gold, niobium do not cause allergic reactions.
