1. sweeten your bath or shower with a handful of sugar- brown or white- and use it as a body scrub- it will work as an exfoliant especially on stubborn rough spots such as elbows, knees and heels.

2. to avoid clumps when you apply mascara wiggle the wand from side to side from the base of lashes to the tip.

3. a subtle way to make your eyes look larger is to apply a second coat of mascara to the outer corners of your upper lashes only.

4. opalescent lipstick makes lower lips look fuller.

5. if your lip gloss slips off after an hour or so- premix it with lipstick on the back of your hand and then apply it with your finger or a lip brush.

6. wet nail polish dries quickly if you dip them in ice water with ice cubes and keep them in for a minute or if you spray them with pam.

7. spray perfume on your head, neck, wrists and behind your knees- your body heat warms and releases the scent.

8. apply a dab of calamine lotion or milk magnesia to a blemish befor ebed and it will be gone by morning.

9. bloated? eating ginger, garlic or papaya to reduce bloat.

10. Buff weak nails up and down not side to side.

11. body oil conditions, softens and adds shine to hair

12. after applying self tanner always wash your hands immediately- if they stain use half a lemon and rub it on them and then moisturize.

13. if your hair goes flat spray it with salt water- the water will reactivate any products and the salt will thicken your hair.

14. chapped lips? use a soft bristle toothbrush and vaseline to exfoliate your lips

15. to keep your lashes from becoming brittle- gently dab a bit of eye cream on lashes before bed to keep them soft

16. if your scalp stings while coloring you hair- add two packs of sweet 'n low to the color mixture before putting it on your hair.
