Becky Hammon and J R Holden Are Players Without Borders at Beijing Olympics

Becky Hammon, a Colorado State graduate, and J.R. Holden, a Bucknell are athletes graduate represent the concept of Olympic "free agency", players without borders. Hammon and Holden, though are from United States, however, are playing for the Russian women's and men’s basketball team respectively. Hammon has said that she is playing for Russia to have a chance at her Olympic dream. Holden, however, has referred to his playing for Russia as simply "making a living". Read more on this here.
