Lalang's invention has already won a gold medal at the European Union sponsored Genius Europe Competition. Most of the inventions are of highly technical efforts and some could possibly be a breakthrough in the fields of medicine, environment, agriculture, the crowds were mostly drawn to the Vitamin beer. Some of the other inventions were the fail safe hammock, a mouse trap, a system to stop would be car bombers, a patented calendar, an invisible gym. Aside from the presentation of inventions, the 3 day conference discussions on improving the international system of patents and global sustainability were also tackled.
