IRON MAN, the intensely anticipated, sure to be blockbuster movie due out May 2,is of course based on the Marvel Comcis property that has been around for 40-some-odd years.

Like many other Marvel properties, IRON MAN was once a cartoon series. Not an especially good cartoon series, which is unfortunately too often the case. The animation was not great, the storylines ditto. Some of the voice work was good, but overall it was not a cartoon that ever amde my top 10 list.
