Beijing Olympics Memorabilia being Auctioned in China

China will auction more than 20 million items of memorabilia from the Beijing Olympics for the general public which will be live. Amongst the items is also the extra-long bed which was used by the tall Chinese basketball star Yao Ming.

That's obviously the reason for the auction. I wonder, if they took all the Gold medals back from their contestants too? It wouldn't surprise me, if they did.

Olympics auction

They'll have to sell a lot of merchandise to get back the $43 billion they spent on the Games (not counting the $30 billion they supposedly spent on infrastructure). You could probably fit a few people in Yao Ming's 8-foot-plus bed!
