Belgium Blue Gigantic Cattle

Gigantic Bovine Wonders

Belgium Blue cattle are characterized by extreme muscling known as "double-muscling". Belgium Blue cattle were obtained by crossing local cattle with British cattle imported from England in the late 1800s. The Belgian Blue cattle are gigantic bovine wonders. Modern breeds of Belgian Blue cattle are as a result of genetic engineering conducted by Professor Hanset at an AI Center in Belgium. The goal was to specifically expand the muscular content of the animals as much as possible. Mutation in a myostatin gene will result in uncontrolled growth of muscles. This mutation causes extreme over-development of muscle in the cattle, which provides great benefits to producers and consumers of meat.
