Best Ad: Evolution of Brand Logos

Because of paid social networking sites, we are all interested in ads: their look, their wording, their placement; etc. Learning how brand logos and ads have changed over the years is not only interesting, but may be helpful to us as well. Numerous brands are shown with the evolution of their logo provided. What looks good today may may make our eyes roll and our heads shake tomorrow.

Response to comment on ad evolution by MythMan

The link is to a page showing how the individual graphic logos have changed, not a thesis on the whys of it. Sorry you seem to be disappointed - I just thought it was interesting historical information. If you monitor the trends of how advertisement changes, you will probably come to some useful conclusions. With respect, Lori of shawnandlori

Good Idea, but "Learning" Oversold the Logo-Charts a Bit

Maybe 'examining' or 'finding' might've been a better word to use. I was half-expecting some informative commentary on the logos' evolution ... and their might be some there! eventually---Here's mine (there): In general, I would say they 'streamline by erosion.' They start out as complexities and hold true to their central themes as they evolve. ---Uncle MythMan Enlightens You on Money Here! Xombies Enlighten on Money, Love, God ...Turn Xombie & Help!
