The title sums up everything in the book. It's helpful, especially if you haven't had the best role models when it comes to love and romance and marriage. A lot of it is about communication, and setting reasonable expectations. Everything is funny and makes you feel good, so it's a nice one to have on hand if you're having pre-wedding jitters.

Buff Brides: The Complete Guide to Getting in Shape and Looking Great for Your Wedding Day
I know so many brides who freak out and go on these elaborate diets just before their wedding day. This book is perfect if you want to get in shape, or target certain areas to look good in your dress. There's even a “crash” program if you only have 12 weeks until your wedding day.

A feel good book. Enough said! It's funny, and touching.

Anti-Bride Etiquette Guide: The Rules - And How to Bend Them
This book has a lot of helpful wedding etiquette, and helps explain things like what to put on your invitations, and polite ways to get your point across when it comes to gifts and plans. Many things are common sense, but it helps to have some guidance.

The Bride & Groom First and Forever Cookbook
This is a collection of recipes for newlyweds. It's really romantic, cooking together, and the recipes are simple enough to follow even if you haven't cooked much before. I like that it involves both partners in the kitchen.

The Green Bride Guide: How to Create an Earth-Friendly Wedding on Any Budget
If you want to plan an eco-friendly wedding, this is a wonderful book that's full of ideas. It covers things like selecting organic food and finding environmentally friendly dresses.

It's Her Wedding But I'll Cry If I Want To: A Survival Guide for the Mother of the Bride
This is a good book for both your Mom, and your future Mother-in-law. It tells them what they are expected to do...and NOT to do...in order to help things go smoothly. There's also suggestions on how to handle things, and it gently tells the Moms their role (which is not to upsurp the whole thing, lol).

The Pocket Idiot's Guide to Being the Father of the Bride
This is great for your Dad, especially if he's clueless and nervous. It's funny, and tells him what to expect, and what sort of duties a father of the bride should be doing (like helping with costs, etiquette, making speeches, being supportive, and letting go).
