The Best Demonology Warlock Talent Spec / Talent Build
posted September 2, 2009 - 9:51pmToday, let's take a look at the Warlock class. Demonology is far different than Affliction or Destruction for a Warlock in World of Warcraft. Warlock demonology talents are a place for those who dare to be different.
in World of Warcraft, the demonology tree focuses on granting bonuses and buffs to your pet in the form of extra stamina, intelligence, mana, and damage. Without a pet, the demonology Warlock is useless.
Improved Healthstone:
Improved Healthstone isn't going to make your healthstone godly, but it will give you that extra life that can sometimes save your life. I found that having that little extra bit of life as a demonology warlock really will save your arse at times. Also, if you have improved healthstone and another Warlock in your raid doesn't, that means that your party members can carry both healthstones since they restore different amounts of health. Pretty cool. There are even members of our guild that only take 1 point in improved healthstone just so all of our raiding members can have three healthstones. 1 normal, 1 semi-improved, and 1 improved healthstone on them at all times.
Improved Imp
It all depends on whether or not you're going to be using the Imp. If you've got the Imp out, take this talent as it will give you a pretty nice increase to your Stamina via Blood Pact being improved. Also, the extra damage is nice.
Demonic Embrace
This is an extremely good talent. You're going to get 15% more stamina from it, HOWEVER, your spirit will be reduced by 5%. Honestly guys, I hear a lot of Warlocks complaining that this is a double edged sword because it takes some spirit away from you. Stop complaining! We have lifetap! We don't need the spirit. I'd rather have that extra stamina any day. I can just lifetap it into mana if I want. If I DON'T need the mana...this talent makes me a lot harder to kill. excellent stuff.
Also, since your pet gets an increase in Stamina based on your own stamina, you're lookin at a nice little increase to your pet's life too. If you're soloing, that means the Voidwalker is going to take a little more punishment before going down, and the imp and succubus are so weak they need as much life as they can get. Great talent.
Improved Voidwalker
Tkae this if you're going to be soloing, if not, you don't need it because...you're not going to be using the voidwalker! (The thing looks stupid anyway =P )
Mana Feed
When you get mana from your drain spells, oyour pet will get the same amount of mana. This talent is a must if you're going Demonology Warlock. I can't tell you how many times I was leveling up or fighting in PvP and all of a sudden my Succubus runs out of mana and the big bad beastie comes running after me. Screw that. Mana Feed baby!
Master Demonologist
Grants various effects to your pets while they're active.
Imp - Reduces Threat
Voidwalker (Mr. Ugly) - Reduces Physical Damage
Succubus - Increases All Damage Done
Felhunter - Increases Resistances
Honestly, with this talent, it depends on which pet you're using. If you're using the Felhunter constantly, it's not really worth it. I'd definitely take this talent if you're using the Succubus or Voidwalker a lot. Those are the two best bonuses. The Imps bonus only comes in handy if you're raiding or playing in a group. Points off of that one because if you're PvPing with the Imp, it's useless.
If you need more information, you can learn absolutely everything there is to know about World of Warcraft (Powerleveling, Gold Secrets, PvP Tactics, Raiding Tactics, Leveling Builds, Grinding Spots, etc) with Dugi's Complete Warcraft Leveling Guide. Dugi has over 7000 hours played and I highly recommend his Guide. I use it all the time and it's a lifesaver.
Have fun playing WoW!
