Best Natural Hair Treatments, Eco Friendly and Absolutely Beautiful

All of us have been there. Scanning the grocery store hair product aisle, and looking for something that will turn our dry , brittle locks into a Pantene Pro-V girl's shake-worthy head of hair. Though the hair gods that bring us our lovely must-have products mean well, sometimes the products we buy are filled with unnecessary chemicals and hard to pronounce stuff we know we don't need in our hair. What's a girl or very hair savvy guy to do then? To the kitchens we go!
There are a few hair treatments that can be done in the comfort of your own home. Eureka...oodles of oil.
olive oil

It doesn't really matter what kind of oil, jojoba is great, coconut is also good if you have it, but good old olive oil is awesome for your hair as well.

Basically use as much oil as needed to saturate your hair, don't overdo it, because you'll end up trying to wash it out, and it will take forever. Steer clear of your scalp too! Focus on the ends of your hair because that is probably what will be the most dry and damaged. Keep it in for at least 30 minutes, the longer the better. I have also found that wrapping a hot towel around your head as you wait, activates more conditioning.

Then for those of you looking for something a bit heavier, the avocado hair mask is definitely a keeper.
Avocado
Mash up a whole ripe avocado in a bowl, after pitting it of course, then add about a 1/2 cup of PLAIN yogurt to the mix. You don't want strawberries all up in your hair, honey. Stick with the plain, unflavored. Mix up the concoction, you can use a whisk to break up the pieces and make it more smooth. Then just apply it to your hair, root to tip. Keep this is in at least 30 minutes as well.

I know these natural hair treatments get your hair looking its best! Beautiful and eco chic!
