Best Time Management Strategies Ever!

 For those with whom following situations occur all too often..

1. " i wanna study ante ...but have no time"
2. " i have to do 2nd revision ....but i have no time"
3. " Oh S@#t!! my exams came sooo close ...i don have a clue ..."
4. " i wanted to do my every subject from reference books (perfectionist) ... but my watch has only 12 hours!!" 

Here is what i have found usefull:-

  1. Start your day with a PLAN. Plan is as important as the goal itself. Everybody wants to be a doctor ...how good is your plan for it? Make it as elaborate as possible. BREAK it into segments. START your day with one. Now you have a TARGET.                                                                                                           
  2. Keep a WATCH with you. LOOK it frequently. ... If it falls on ur blind spot and you go on your daily knack of wasting time ....GET MORE CLOCKS. Hang them on all four walls ...even on ceilings if u waste ur time looking UP! Now you are in Constant touch with your time.                                                                                                                                                              
  3. Find your TV remote, PS/Xbox console, Music system, Cricket Bat, Soccer Ball, etc... and write " GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME YOU LAZY #$%@^&#* PRODIGAL SLOB!!! You can add more Adjectives 'Good ones' that can make u move.                                                                                                                                                                   
  4. Till your Rank/counselling call letter comes, u have NO relatives, girlfriends, smoking/party friends, etc... But you HAVE all of them SOOO .... decide if they would mind seeing you in surgeons costume, doing angios, or whatever field u like?? NO, THEY UNDERSTAND... So give your time to your current sweetheart 'your studies'.                                                                                                                                      
  5. CLEAN and UN-CLUTTER your study table. They say that Creativity comes out of Chaos. TRUE but r u looking for creativity??? or your aim is to ORDERLY finish ur preparations. There was a social experiment: " They stuck a 100 $ bill on an envelope and left it half hanging from a post box on a city street, and studied behavior of passerbys. Following were the observations: 
    A). Out of 100 passerbys 7 tried to take that envelop. 
    B). Now they littered some garbage, and stones around; this time 13 out of 100 
          passerbys tried to take the envelop. 
    C). Next they painted grafiti on the postbox and around it. This time 21 
          people tried to take that envelop!"                                                                                                     The moral of the story is " DISORGANIZED SURROUNDINGS LEAD TO DISORGANIZED  BEHAVIOUR."                                                                                                                                                                      
  6. Sleep but keep the alarms ready. Contrary to the popular belief Sleep deprivation DOES NOT cause memory loss. In 1965 they studied a guy who stayed awake for 264 hour and 12 minutes for world record then slept for 14 hours 14 minutes, and he was ALL RIGHT. Now neurologist say that sleep deprivation does not cause any permanent deficit. As of now USA is sleep deprived for 1.5 hrs daily ( they sleep for 6.5 hrs avg.). So u can safely cut short ur marathon sleeps to power naps. But dont overdo it or it will cause lapse in consentration. 5.5 to 6 hrs is the best bet. Use your 5 CLOCKS!!!                                                                                                                                                                      
  7. There is a price to pay if you wanna be a perfectionist. And that price is TIME. So give yourself a DOUBLE DOSE of everything said above if u hav that kind of study habit. But once in a while ponder over it... is it the time to be perfectionist?                                                                                                                  
  8. QUIT SMOKING: Apart from being 3rd most common cause of death worldwide ...it  WASTES your time. Every smoking brake takes 15 minutes avg. so 6 ciggrates a day means 1.5 hrs!! It might increase if you have smoking buddies ...So QUIT SMOKING.
