Best video games ever.

Best video games ever.

Over the years, many great video games have been created. However, there are always a few games that stand out above the rest. In this article, I will write about some of the games that I feel are in the top of their class.

My favorite game of all time would have to be Chrono Trigger. This was an RPG game for the Super Nintendo. For those of you who don't know, RPG stands for role playing game. Anyway, you would play a character who would travel back and forth through time to fight denizens that wanted nothing more then to destroy your world. Your character and his friends all had magical powers that they would use to defeat these dangerous enemies.

My second favorite game of all time would be the Baldur's Gate Trilogy. Baldur's Gate was another fantasy game for the PC that was based on a book. It was a great combination for me because I read fantasy books all the time(by fantasy I mean wizards; magic). In Baldur's Gate, your character's soul carries the taint of an evil god named Bhaal.

Bhaal was killed long ago in a war of gods, and your character(one of Bhaal's children) is destined to be reborn as him. The question is whether or not your character can resist the evil nature that is Bhaal, or will your character simply succumb to the taint? It's all up to you, the player. One of the reasons why I like this game so much is because I decide whether or not Bhaal's darker side takes over.

One of the first games that I ever played was Super Mario Brothers. This game is a classic that has never really died out. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser; etc will live on for decades to come.

Usually, the whole point of this game is to save Princes Peach from the clutches of the evil Bowser. You will go through various levels as Mario or Luigi, and fight Bowser's evil henchman. Eventually, you end up fighting Bowser himself. It may be a repetitive game, but it's always fun.

Another game that I enjoy is Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy is a game where you usually end up having to save the world from evil monsters or people. Basically, you start off with a single character and as you progress in the game, your character becomes more powerful and joins up with other characters.

Final Fantasy is another example of a game that will live on for decades to come because it has such a fanbase. It's been almost twenty years since the first Final Fantasy, and it's still going strong.

The game that started this whole fantasy craze of mine would be Zelda: A Link to the Past. In this game your character is named Link, and he must save Princess Zelda. Zelda has been kidnapped by an evil sorcerer named Ganon; he is bent on having the god like power of the Triforce. Link must gain access to the Master Sword and lay waste to Ganon. Ah, the hours I wasted playing this game. Memories.

In conclusion, there have been many great games throughout the ages. However, only a handful of these games deserve to be remembered as the best. These five games that I have talked about are what I consider to be some of the best games ever created.

Xomblurbs vs. Xombytes

Hi Pencil Pusher, Just wanted to make a comment about the difference between Xomblurbs and Xombytes. I know it can be confusing. Xomblurbs, which is what this is, are for making links to other pages. Say for instance if you had found a list of the best video games on a different website and wanted to link to them. Xombytes are for your own articles. Since you made this list yourself it should be a Xombyte. Don't worry about it, but next time try to keep that in mind. Just so you know. My all-time favorite PC game is X-Wing and the Tie Fighter series. I really miss those. Thanks.
