Bionic Eyes for blind people

As reported on lives science, several developments have been made in this past few years. One of which is the Bionic Eyes. In most cases a blind person will not be able to see anything. Even the basics of light and other bright objects are dark to a totally blind person.

But a new invention is on its way to solve that problem. Such may not give the person the ability to see things as we see it but when a totally blind person will see even some light or movements or some shape, then that is a totally awesome development.

Currently undergoing trials in the FDA is the bionic eyes. The process is actually recording basic visual information via camera, process it into electronic signals and send it wirelessly to implanted electrodes. This system calle Argus II Retinal Prosthetics is developed by Harvard Research Fellow Dr. John Pezris.

Soon we will see blind people seing some lights and movement!
