Blackburn Rovers Official Website

I'm a Rovers fan and this is the official Blackburn Rovers Website. It features the RoversStore (where you can buy replica kits and other BRFC branded stuff), a forum (for discussing the latest Rovers matches, transfers and player performances) and lots of Rovers news. It's a very useful website if you're a Blackburn fan. If you're not, what's wrong with you? :D enjoy.

The Rovers

rovers crest.jpgThe Rovers is the abbreviated name for the football (soccer) club from the town of Blackburn in Lancashire (the county Manchester is in). They are one of the oldest professional football clubs in the world. The club was established in 1875 and sports the Latin motto "arte et labore" which translates as "by skill and hard work". The club helped found The Football League in 1888.

Rovers?

I'm not from the UK.  What are the Rovers?  I can't recall ever hearing of them before, but I'm not a big sports fan either like a lot of my friends are.  I can take them or leave them except for baseball, which I hate.
