I have just recently bought Blaqk Audio's CD "Cexcells". For those who do not know, Blaqk Audio is a side project of AFI's Davey Havok and Jade Puget. Since Havok is singing for this band as well, the music does sound similar to AFI and there isn't much difference in the lyric style as well. The lyrics are still full of the dark emotion that hooked me onto AFI. The big difference is the music style. Instead of the rocking guitars heard from AFI, Blaqk Audio features dance-electronica sounds from a keyboard. All in all it is a very good album with very intriguing songs. I would definitely recommend it to any fan of AFI.
