Blue Cheese Dressing/Dip Recipe - Home Made Tastes Better and Saves Money

1/2 cup good Mayo (Best Foods or Hellman's)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup buttermilk (you can use 1/4 can good brand of beer and 1/2 cup cream instead if you dont object to beer, and this gives it a great flavor)

Add small amount of salt, pepper, tiny bit of garlic powder, parsley flakes, tiny bit of cayenne pepper (more if you like it really spicy).

1/2 cup of your favorite Blue cheese crumbles

Mix all ingredients into a bowl and store in the fridge overnight for flavors to blend. This can be left thick as a dip or thinned out slightly with more buttermilk, beer, half and half or milk.

The flavor develops quite a bit as it sits over night. Keeps well in the refrigerator
Recipe can be easily adjusted by cutting in half or can be doubled or tripled.
