Johnny Yuma here, I am a happily married Husband, Dad of three two boys, and one girl, and Grandpa to seven wonderful Grandkids.  I am a writer of short poems, essays, and a few short stories. I also try to be a Christian. I have a few poems published in paperbacks such as Poesia.  Poesia is a paperback book that is published by Indian Bay Press in Fayetteville, Arkansas. With that many Grandkids I stay fairly busy which is fine by me. I mostly write at night.

Pushing up daisies, from six feet under--
Pushing up daisies toward the thunder.
The thunder rolls--
The lightning flashes--
The rains fall--
Making the daisies grow.

I loved you--only you
Your love for me was untrue.
Your love has me pushing up daisies.
That is why all the daisies are blue.

They know it would not be right to come up white--
When they come out into the daylight.
Your love untrue makes them come up blue.

Now I am through.
