B-Movie Thrills: Grave of the Vampire
posted November 5, 2009 - 1:30pmYou all know Blade, right? Yes, the guy who's half vampire, half human, and out kicking some blood-sucker ass.
But Blade isn't alone. There's another half human/half vampire around: William Smith as James Eastman in John Hayes' GRAVE OF THE VAMPIRE from 1974, in which our hero is looking for a certain Caleb Croft (Michael Pataki), the vampire who made Eastman what he is today.
GRAVE OF THE VAMPIRE is pretty awful, but it has a funny party sequence with people dancing in an apartment, and most of all: it has cult actor Smith in the lead. William Smith is maybe mostly known for playing the evil and rotten Falconetti in RICH MAN, POOR MAN, but he's appeared in loads and loads of movies, and was a big star in biker movies from the 1960s and 70s.
GRAVE OF THE VAMPIRE is in public domain, meaning it can be downloaded and watched legally and free. Click the link below for a site where you can stream it.
