Todd Bodine held off Kyle Busch to win his second straight NASCAR Truck Series race at Daytona. The season opening race featured several major wrecks that eliminated almost half the trucks in the field.

Bodine almost dropped out of the Daytona race because of his team's financial problems. No NASCAR truck driver has has ever won the Daytona race and gone on to win the championship.
