The body of a woman found on Friday in a field in Reno has been identified as that of Brianna Denison. She had died of strangulation.

19 year-old Brianna, a student at Santa Barbara City College, had gone out with friends and then went to stay at one her friend's house on January 20. She was later found missing. The circumstances were mysterious. There was blood on her pillow and some personal items - her phone and purse - were left behind.

The police say that the killer is a serial rapist who lives near the Reno campus. The DNA evidence links him with attacks on other women near the campus.

He may be lying low due to the publicity of the Brianna Denison case, but police fear that he may attack again, but they are confident that he will be caught.
