Box office verdict Om Shanti Om huge hit and Saawariya flops

The verdict on the Indian box office battle between Om Shanti Om and Saawariya is out: and the winner is Om Shanti Om. Om Shanti Om has emerged as the clear winner. On Monday the collections of Saawariya had fallen to the 35-50% mark while Om Shanti Om was rock steady at 80-90% which is extraordinary for Monday in the multiplex era. Quality wise Om Shanti Om is very entertaining, as I could barely watch the first half of Saawariya. Sanjay Leela Bhansali really dropped the ball this time around.
