Brandon Deaderick, a defensive lineman from the University of Alabama was shot in the forearm by an unidentified gunman outside an apartment complex in Tuscaloosa on Monday night, August 31,2009. Media reports say that he was shot during an apparent robbery attempt. Deaderick, the 22 year old football player is being treated at DCH and hospital authorities here say that his injuries are not life threatening and he is now in good condition.
