Mariana Bridi da Costa, a 20-year-old model from Brazil has had her hands and feet amputated after contracting a severe urinary virus. Mariana Bridi, the beauty queen who was a finalist to represent Brazil in the Miss World contest, had a urinary infection, Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterium just before the New Year.
