Breaking News Nigeria: The Re-denomination Exercise of CBN runs into Trouble

The Nigerian people woke up on Saturday the 25th day of August that the newly touted policy of naira re-denomination has by suspended by the presidency.
Explaining to the nation, the Attorney General of the Federation alerted the nation that the act establishing CBN has been fouled as the CBN Governor did not receive a go-ahead permission nor did he sought for a permission from the President before embarking on the exercise.
Cosequent upon this, the CBN Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo had to cut short his overseas holidays and rushed back into the country.
He had since accepted the suspension order on the new naira re-denomination policy that was supposed to take effect in August 2008.
