Just a few minutes ago, Sheriff Alderden of Larimer County, Colorado held a news conference and announced that his department has determined that the "Balloon Boy" flight was a hoax, a publicity stunt that was planned 2 weeks ago. Misdemeanor charges will be filed against Richard Heene and his wife and the couple could face criminal charges down the line.
