Brett Favre Considering Coming out of Retirement

Brett Favre Considering Coming out of Retirement

As we all know, Brett Favre tearfully retired from the NFL at the end of last season. However, recently ESPN reported that Brett Favre has described himself as "having the itch to play" to Coach Mike McCarthy. He responded to the reporting as it just being a rumor. It's interesting that he did not flat out deny the rumor as false. Also, cornerback Al Harris for the Green Bay Packers claims that he has heard Favre say similar comments to him. Aaron Rodgers is the planned quarterback for the upcoming NFL season but we all know Favre would surely be welcomed back to the Packers with open arms by fans.

Favre does have two years left on his contract, although he has been moved to the reserved-retired list so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Oh

It's kind of too bad to hear that, but then again, he just looks far too old to be a star QB.

Still a rumor

It has been flatly denied by Brett Favre, so it still amounts to wishful thinking by Packers fans. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
