Brett Favre Traded to New York Jets

After speculation that the Green Bay quarterback would be traded to Tampa Bay, Brett Favre was instead dealt to the New York Jets in a deal that came together just before the midnight deadline.

It's reported the Jets gave up a 2009 draft pick in return. Although Favre is 38 years old, this is being called one of the biggest trades in New York Jets history.

The Favre jersey is selling out in stores. It's a lot of money to spend for a guy who'll most likely only be around one season.
