Britons Prefer Sleep to Sex, Study Shows (and It's Not Even Close)

Britons Prefer Sleep to Sex, Study Shows (and It's Not Even Close)

We all know that many Westerners are sleep deprived, but a new survey from Britain shows just how serious the problem is: More than three fourths of Britons asked "would rather have a good night's sleep than indulge in sexual intercourse with their partners."

Specifically, 79% of respondents said they preferred the idea of extra sleep over sex.

Lack of sleep, rather than lack of interest in sex, seems to be the reason: just 12 per cent of respondents said that they got eight hours of shuteye on most nights. Seventy percent of the people surveyed had trouble sleeping, the researchers found.

well I'm not married,

well I'm not married, however I do have a boyfriend and I would probably give him up for the web as well, haha.

Honey, what's in the fridge?

Good one, I hadn't heard that before! It seems the Brits aren't the only ones feeling less than sexy; a study found that young Germans would rather do without their cars or their partners than without the Web or mobile phones.

On a related note...

Another study by the Institute for Institutional Instituting found the reason that more married people than single people had problems with obesity and being overweight. Single people will come home at night, take a look at what's in the fridge, then go to bed. Married people, apparently, will come home at night, take a look at what's in the bed, then go the fridge. Strange how that works, although I don't vouch for the veracity of the study. CLICK HERE TO JOIN XOMBA TODAY!

British sex survey

Yeah, it is really odd. People must be really sleep deprived.

Preferring sleep to sex

Hmmm, that's a good point. Maybe the study should have asked if sex with someone besides their partner would be more appealing than sleeping ?

WEIRD.

WEIRD.

Flawed

Flawed study - specified it had to be with their partners. Now if you were ask if they could have sex or sleep then maybe there would be a different answer. :) Visit my homepage here
